HOW TO DONATE

Unto Him is a non-profit 501C3 faith-based organization that is designed to serve the needs of others throughout central Indiana.  Because we do not hide from, or water down, who we are (Christian servants), whose we are (our Savior Jesus Christ), and what motivates us (pleasing God through serving others), funding opportunities through traditional grants are always going to be somewhat limited for our organization.

The following is a list of examples of activities that donated funds are used toward:

  • Buying food for preparing and serving dinners for the homeless
  • Buying groceries to support the homeless
  • Buying clothes for families in need
  • Buying clothes and toys for children in need for our Christmas program (2017 goal is to serve 150 kids)
  • Buying school supplies and backpack for students in need
  • Paying gas and electrical bills for families who are at risk to have their utilities cut off
  • Paying rent for families who are at risk to being evicted
  • Buying uplifting items (flowers, balloons, trinkets, etc.) to cheer up the sick, the elderly, and/or the depressed
  • Sponsoring field trips for children of parents (primarily women) housed in shelters
  • Sponsoring “pampering days” for women housed in shelter (which includes, facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, etc.)
  • Supporting our Thanksgiving program, geared toward buying groceries and/or delivering hot Thanksgiving meal to those in need (2017 goal is to feed 300 people during the Thanksgiving holiday)
  • Sponsoring `special needs’ proms for those with disabilities (i.e., autism, aspergers, downs syndrome)
  • Supporting our local shelter “supplies and beautification” projects, which includes painting and cleaning local shelters, and/or providing needed supplies (i.e, diapers, toys, appliances, food, bibles and spiritual reading and study materials, etc.)
